WHAT WE COVERED
August 19 and 26
Wednesdays at 5pm ICT / Thailand
This month our first session dives deep into the Cause and Science behind the air pollution we've been observing increasing in Thailand. We'll hear from a variety of experts, including the Blue Paper authors.
The second session is dedicated to re-imagining air pollution as air assets. Award winning Graviky Labs, ETRAN, and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation will share circular design approaches, and the Royal Society of Arts (RSA) will detail their Student Design Awards Launch focused on Air Pollution.
September 9 and 23
Wednesdays at 5pm ICT / Thailand
In September we explore the costs and impacts of air pollution - both to society and individuals. Looking beyond public health and economics, the first session gathers experts to ask: what is the true toll this crisis is having, and how can it be measured?
One silver lining to the dark cloud of the impacts of air pollution is the many artists, educators, and community members working on creative responses to alert their networks to the crisis and take action. September's second session will feature a variety of these unusual suspects dedicated to building a #cleanair movement.
October 7 and 28
Wednesdays at 5pm ICT / Thailand
While the potential solutions to the air pollution challenge may be known, many barriers still inhibit lasting change. This month tune in to understand what is still needed, and where there gaps in data, institutional frameworks, and political will remain.
Ready to tackle these barriers and dive into designing systemic solutions to the clean air challenge? Join in for the second October session, where leaders from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Circular Design Lab will host an interactive workshop to #takeaction together and develop and iterate responses to the gaps in the system.
November 11 and 28
5pm ICT / Thailand
In November the focus is on solutions. The first session asks: what are the next steps after the Blue Paper, and what are the realistic solutions for Thailand's air pollution challenge - to ensure the #Right2CleanAir both today and for the long-term?
Want to learn more about solutions and how to protect yourself and your household from toxic air? Join us for the second session, where you can put your crafting skills to work and build your very own air purifier (in-person community day!).
December 2
Wednesday at 5pm ICT / Thailand
In December we celebrate the journey we've been on together and invite you to share your ideas for action and commitment to the #Right2CleanAir.
While this marks the end of the Roadshow, this is just the beginning. Systemic change requires collective action. Come take part in an art installation and community pop-up, meet fellow Roadshow participants in person and continue building your solutions ideas together.
